Frequently Asked Questions

Who are our guests?

The Lunar Inn welcomes both travellers seeking short-term accommodation and participants in First Light’s experiential learning programs.

Because the Inn serves both purposes, availability can vary throughout the year. If you’re planning a visit, we’d be happy to help you find dates that work for your stay.

Where are you located?

The Lunar Inn is located at 36 Quidi Vidi Road in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, just up the hill from First Light’s new headquarters at 40 Quidi Vidi Road, which is currently undergoing renovations.

Tucked just off the main road, the Inn offers a peaceful setting while being only steps from the shops, restaurants, waterfront, and historic streets of downtown St. John’s. Situated at the foot of Signal Hill, you’ll find harbour views, walking trails, and some of the city’s most iconic scenery just outside your door.

Relax on the shared outdoor deck, take a stroll through nearby Cavell Park Playground, or walk to Belbin’s Grocery for locally prepared meals and everyday essentials.
